
Tony Atkinson is the founder of Proteus Training and an associate with Crisp CPD and i2i Development Solutions. He started his working life as an aeronautical engineer and became interested in coaching and behavioural change after gaining an Honours Degree in Psychology. He has developed training for the Private and Public Sector in fields such as engineering, infantry training, medical training and logistics. As a member of a business development consultancy he led change workshops in order to improve business processes and help employees become more satisfied and engaged in their work. Additionally, he is a trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and coach who for over 25 years has helped scores of individuals achieve their full potential and realise their goals. He is particularly interested in how the conscious use of language can be used to maximise performance in the leadership, education and business sectors. His MSc in Leadership Studies, post-graduate Certificate in Training Management and Consultancy and wide practical experience helps him blend the academic and practical aspects of training to ensure clients are fully engaged in and are enthralled by their training experience.
His aim is to develop the very highest quality courses and deliver training excellence so that course delegates leave with knowledge and skills that will enhance their professional and personal lives.
Karen Hamblett is a director of KEH Training & Consultancy Ltd. and an associate with Proteus Training. She is a highly skilled and dedicated coach, trainer and facilitator. Karen is a qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming Trainer, Master Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Neuro Linguistic Programming Coach and a Belbin Accredited Trainer. Karen’s expertise is in working with others to enhance their ‘human to human’ influencing and conversational skills. She utilises this expertise within her Sales Skills Training and Coaching programmes. Coming from the position of a national trainer with a large pharmaceutical company, Karen understands the importance of high quality training and Continuous Professional Development in building organisational capacity and accountability. For over 21 years Karen has used this insight to empower thousands of individuals, to improve their working and private lives and to achieve their goals and dreams. For the last 14 years, Karen has run her own training and consultancy business and has worked in partnership with a range of private, public and charitable status organisations who have become loyal clients.
As a trainer and a facilitator, Karen creates a collaborative learning environment. She encourages conscious and unconscious learning processes thus ensuring a positive learning experience for each participant.
As a Business Coach, Karen works with senior business leaders, middle management and entrepreneurs to enhance management and leadership skills and behaviours. As a Personal Coach, Karen helps a range of people overcome the barriers to realising their dreams.
